April Becker
Ms. Becker obtained her bachelor of arts degree in political science and a minor in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she graduated cum laude. She received her juris doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she received the CALI award in legal writing.
While attending law school, Ms. Becker worked as a paralegal for a busy litigation firm in Nevada. She also participated in the Legislative Project, under the direction of Adjunct Professor Bob Faiss, assisting in the research and creation of Nevada gaming legislation. Prior to joining Marquis Aurbach Coffing, Ms. Becker worked in gaming and real estate development.
In her spare time, Ms. Becker enjoys traveling, cooking, community involvement, and spending time with her family.
