Candice E. Renka
Ms. Renka received her bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Richmond, where she graduated magna cum laude and with departmental honors, in 2002. In 2008, Ms. Renka obtained her juris doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Before joining Marquis Aurbach Coffing, Ms. Renka served as a law clerk to Justice Mark Gibbons at the Nevada Supreme Court.
During law school, Ms. Renka was the Editor-in-Chief of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. She also authored The Presumed Eggshell Plaintiff Rule: Determining Liability When Mental Harm Accompanies Physical Injury, 29 T. Jefferson L. Rev. 289 (2007). Ms. Renka worked as a Summer Associate for Marquis Aurbach Coffing and interned for Daley & Heft, a civil litigation firm in Solana Beach, California.
Prior to law school, Ms. Renka worked as a paralegal and legal assistant at Cawthorn, Picard & Rowe, a civil law firm in Richmond, Virginia.
Away from work, Ms. Renka enjoys reading, writing, trying new restaurants, soaking up the bright Nevada sunshine, weekends in San Diego and traveling back east to visit family.
