Jessica M. Goodey
Ms. Goodey received her bachelor of arts degree in political science and a minor in Italian from the University of Illinois in 2007. In 2010, Ms. Goodey obtained her juris doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, where she received the 2010 Deans Award and the CALI Award in Trial Advocacy.
During law school, Ms. Goodey served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Kent J. Dawson at the United States District Court, District of Nevada. Ms. Goodey also participated in the William S. Boyd School of Law's Juvenile Justice Clinic, wherein she provided criminal defense services to minors. Additionally, Ms. Goodey was a member of the 2009 Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition Quarter Finalist Team, as well as a member of the 2009 Society of Advocates Mock Trial First Place Team. Ms. Goodey worked as a law clerk for several firms in town, focusing on general civil litigation and worked as a Summer Associate at Marquis Aurbach Coffing in 2009.
In her spare time, Ms. Goodey enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and outdoor activities.
