Matthew T. Cecil
Mr. Cecil's practice includes real estate law, housing law, open meeting law, employment/labor disputes, and commercial litigation with an emphasis on business torts and contract disputes.
In August of 1998, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor of science in psychology. In May of 2005, Mr. Cecil earned his juris doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV.
Mr. Cecil was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in October of 2005. He was also a juvenile probation officer for the Fourth District Juvenile Court in Utah for four years. Prior to joining Marquis Aurbach Coffing, Mr. Cecil was the law clerk to the Honorable Michelle Leavitt, Eighth Judicial District Court, Department 12.
Mr. Cecil grew up in upstate New York and lived in Italy for nearly two years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys fly-fishing, golf, and playing basketball.
