Mr. Hardy’s areas of practice include:  civil litigation, insurance defense, business litigation, formation & licensing; real estate; administrative & regulatory law; campaign & election law; First Amendment & defamation; legislative affairs; intellectual property; constitutional law and eminent domain.

Mr. Hardy returned to Marquis Aurbach after serving as vice president and general house counsel for a prominent firearms group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hardy served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Federal District Court Judge James C. Mahan. While working for the Federal District Court, Mr. Hardy assisted the Judge Mahan in his services as Judge Pro Tempore on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, California. Mr. Hardy has successfully handled jury and bench trials obtaining multi-million-dollar judgments on behalf of his clients. Moreover, Mr. Hardy has represented local, national and international clients and has filed on behalf of his clients petitions and appeals to the Nevada and United States Supreme Courts. Having served as the attorney for state and local political parties, Mr. Hardy has overseen, advised and litigated issues regarding elections, campaigns and voting rights. Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Hardy has obtained privileged and other licenses for firearms companies, restaurants, sports bars, gaming manufacturers, slot route operators and medical/recreational marijuana establishments. He has also assisted clients in proposing and opposing legislation and controls which impact their business and trade associations and presenting policy and other arguments on behalf of clients before federal, state and local regulatory and professional agencies. Mr. Hardy served on the board of a number of organizations including Easter Seals Nevada and Roseman University. Beyond the office, Mr. Hardy enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and four children.
