Throughout his undergraduate studies, Baxter worked in various internships and externships, and spent the summers working in door-to-door sales where he learned the nuances of communication and persuasion. From 2012-2014, Baxter also took time away from his studies to live in Brazil where he became fluent in Portuguese.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Baxter received various academic scholarships to multiple top-ranked law schools, including Arizona State University, the Ohio State University, and Brigham Young University, ultimately choosing to return to his hometown of Las Vegas and attend UNLV, where he was awarded the William S. Boyd Academic Scholarship.
While in law school, Baxter clerked for multiple civil-litigation firms, worked as a Staff Editor and the Business Editor for UNLV's Gaming Law Journal, served as a student ambassador for UNLV, and earned top marks in Contracts, Trial Advocacy, and Gaming Technology and Innovation.
Baxter's areas of practice primarily consist of complex commercial litigation, construction defect litigation, probate litigation, real property litigation, and estate planning.
When he is away from the office, Baxter enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing golf, mountain biking, and nearly all types of outdoor recreation.
