Mr. Daniels practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, representing individuals and businesses in a variety of disputes. He brings to his litigation practice a background in complex commercial contracts, regulatory matters, business operations, and the energy industry. His experience working in both legal and business roles provides him with a practical perspective when evaluating disputes and developing strategies tailored to his clients’ objectives.
Prior to joining Marquis Aurbach, Mr. Daniels served as an attorney with NV Energy, where he worked on regulatory proceedings, commercial agreements, energy transactions, and other legal matters affecting the company’s business operations. Before joining NV Energy, Mr. Daniels spent several years with Berkshire Hathaway Energy, where he negotiated and administered complex commercial agreements involving natural gas pipelines, construction projects, energy services, and other business transactions. Through these roles, Mr. Daniels gained experience working alongside business leaders, engineers, project managers, and other professionals on complex legal and commercial matters.
Mr. Daniels earned his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2026. Mr. Daniels began his legal education at the University of Oregon School of Law, where he served as Chairperson for the Black Law Students Association (BLSA). During law school, he was also involved in the Student Bar Association (SBA) and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Energy Law.
Prior to law school, Mr. Daniels attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and competed as a member of the Nebraska Track and Field team. During his collegiate career, he was a multiple-time Big Ten Champion and was named to the Nebraska Athletics Honor Roll. His experience as a collegiate athlete helped develop the discipline, preparation, teamwork, and competitive mindset that he continues to bring to his legal practice.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Daniels is an avid music enthusiast and enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, as well as writing and producing his own music. He also remains active in competitive sports and regularly competes in table tennis tournaments. A former collegiate track and field athlete, Mr. Daniels continues to enjoy track and field and maintaining an active lifestyle. He is also an enthusiastic traveler and enjoys experiencing new cities, cultures, food, and live music around the world.
