Collin M. Jayne

Collin Jayne is an experienced civil litigation attorney who focuses on commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and construction law. He prides himself on providing full-service representation to a broad variety of clients all the way from prelitigation planning (and litigation avoidance) through prosecuting and defending claims at trial and on appeal.

Mr. Jayne represents business clients of all sizes and industries, assisting them in navigating complex disputes over contracts, business torts, shareholder/partnership disputes, and intellectual property disputes. In his real estate practice, Mr. Jayne has considerable experience representing landlords and property management companies on a broad scope of contractual disputes and title litigation, and he has assisted small business and individuals in smaller-scale real estate ownership and lease disputes. In the construction realm, Mr. Jayne brings a unique understanding of the construction process to assist clients in disputes over construction contracts, payment and mechanic’s lien disputes, and construction defect claims.

Over the past decade, Mr. Jayne has secured favorable outcomes for his clients in state and federal court proceedings, including numerous bench trials, jury trials, and appeals, as well as mediation and arbitration proceedings. In addition to his experience representing clients at Marquis Aurbach, Mr. Jayne draws from his experience from serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Adriana Escobar in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County Nevada, where he developed a sense for the judicial perspective on civil cases and honed his legal writing skills. During law school, Mr. Jayne had the honor of serving as the Executive Managing Editor of the Nevada Law Journal. 

When not practicing law, Mr. Jayne spends his time with his wife and three kids, exploring complicated new board games, and drinking good coffee.
